THE BLOOD MOON

Beautiful,
The roseate glow
Of the lunar moon
The light it shed
Touches the earth
O! a coruscating brilliance
A touch of red,
It could mean love
Love?
Perhaps the moon
Has been speared,
Ran through with cold steel
Shedding scalding tears
In gory pool
Sun,
stars
And other heavenly bodies
Have you done this?
Have you killed our moon?
Why does she glow in gore?
Will she breathe again?
Will she glow
To lit our inky night again?

I'LL SING YOU, A SWEET LAY

I'll offer to you,
my dearest
a sweet silvery rendition
Embraced in a harmonious rhythm
Deep from the abyss of my steadfast heart,
A sweet lay of love
No ear has welcomed

I'll sing low,
then high
Till it rises,
a deafening crescendo
I'll beckon on songsters
Form all earth's quarter
Together,
we'll make the song swell around you

I'll praise with the sweet ode
The greatness of your surpassing beauty,
Your alluring eyes,
Point-carved nose
And Sexy pink glossy lips
Not saving your inky long tresses

From my piccolo,
There shall a pleasant tune issue forth
To tear away your heavy-heart
In great asunder
I'll twang too
the ukulele strings
And set free it's sweet melody
To unfasten your joy

For you,
Bone of my own
I'll sing till my strength wane
twang strings
Till my fingers are dead
I'll go to the end of the earth
To make songs that holds you
Under a rapturous heaven

LIFE

I love her so much
I care for her as such
The lone reason I breathe
She makes my heart beat
In sweet harmony with her presence
With her, I've found my essence
That her father could let her be mine
To dwell fast by me till the end of time
Then I'll go to the end of the earth
To gain plenteous wealth
And pay her nameless bride price
But alas! Won't death awe in fright?
Yet only then will I breath forever,
And ne'er ever shall I sever ties with her.
